Confined Space Entry

Entry means the action by which a person passes through an opening into a permit-required confined space. Entry includes ensuing work activities in that space and is considered to have occurred as soon as any part of the entrant's body breaks the plane of an opening into the space.

A Confined Space Entry Course is a safety training program designed to teach workers and supervisors how to safely identify, enter, work in, and exit enclosed, high-risk areas like tanks, manholes, silos, and tunnels. It covers hazard recognition (toxic atmospheres, entrapment), proper ventilation, PPE use, permit systems, and emergency rescue procedures.
